Graphs

Saturday, December 8th, 2007

I added a couple of graphs to the sidebar. The top graph is my daily weigh-in. The bottom graph measures the total poundage from my kettlebell workout. The gigantic dip in poundage is due to the fact that I started taking two minute rests between rounds rather than three minute rests. When I work down to one minute rests, I think there will be another huge dip. I might add another graph to track how many flights of stairs I run during my other conditioning workout supposing I can actually find a flight of runnable stairs in LA.

219.2 lb

Thursday, December 6th, 2007

Waking Weight: 219.2

Breakfast: 4 cups coffee

Snack: 2 small bags of peanuts

Lunch: grilled fish burrito

Dinner: tandoori meat

Snack: 1 madeline pastry

On the whole, this was a bad food day. Laura and I went out for dinner and I had business lunch in Long Beach. At lunch I picked the fish out of the burrito and ate half the tortilla. I discarded a gigantic mound of rice and beans and guacamole and sour cream. At dinner I didn’t eat any of the basmati rice, opting instead to get a tandoori combination consisting of lamb, fish, chicken and a shrimp. I didn’t eat a single vegetable all day (intentionally) which is not good. The only good thing about my nutrition for the day is that I managed to avoid most carbs.

Tuesday, December 4th, 2007

Breakfast: a bowl of cheerios with about a cup of organic 2% milk

Lunch:

  1. a piece of grilled fish (I have no idea what kind. It was white though)
  2. three tortillas
  3. cup of rice
  4. iced tea

Pre-workout meal: Piece of multi-grain bread with natural peanut butter

Dinner: Muscle Milk shake

Overall I think my nutrition today was okay. I had to travel to Long Beach for my job and wasn’t able to eat my usual smoothie lunch. I had a business lunch at a place called Taco Beach. It was pretty good. I managed to find something that wasn’t fried, and I forced myself to eat only about 1/3 of the rice and beans that came with the fish.
